AuraOS is a microkernel-based embedded operating system that was developed by Genesi for internal and client use. It features an advanced sandbox security model to safely isolate individual applications as well as entire virtualized OS instances.

AuraOS has been superceded by Genesi´s RadixOS, a new microkernel-based RTOS specifically designed to meet the needs of the Internet of Things.
