Genesi´s EFIKA MX6 is a low-cost six-layer board design based around the i.MX6 Quad-Core Cortex A9 (ARM) System-on-Chip from NXP. Additionally, the design includes board firmware and a optimized software bundle.

The Efika MX6 was designed as a proof-of-concept and created in a manner to test and optimize selected IP blocks. The derivitives possible from this board are numerous. Extensive software testing and development has been completed. 

Also available is the Efika MX53. This is a low-cost four-layer board design based around the i.MX53 Cortex A8 (ARM) System-on-Chip from NXP Semiconductors. The design includes board firmware and a optimized desktop image and was developed for the consumer market. The design supported the netbook market segment and was licensed for production in Latin America, Eastern Europe and Africa.
